The smaller in diameter is the intake and larger is for overboard.

I am planning on doing Kiwi grip my Formula floor, so about a year ago i did a 2'x3' plywood prepped just like my floor to see how it would look and how durable is and i am very happy with the results. I used a very small notched trowel to spread it so the bumps are really minimal.

I use Collinites metal wax for metal. I use Collinites fiberglass cleaner, I use Collinites paste wax. 3M cleaner/wax is good too.

No, you do not need the speed gauge if you can get it from your GPS. This what i did on the Formula One of those and one the same size for tach and hour meter.

If you have a hardtop with the electronics box, remove the black acrylic door and make one out of plexiglass and tint it from the inside. Now you can install the camera behind the door and it will take clear pictures as long as the lens touches the door from the inside.

The cup holders should not drain in the bilge. They have a hose connected to a drain on the cockpit. The hatch in the back should have also a hose connected to drain overboard. I don't know about the Marlin but in general Grady doesn't drain anything in the bilge, at least the new ones.
