    248 Voyager Tank Replacement

New fuel hoses and clamps. Should be good for another 20 plus years. This ethanol fuel is real garbage. Killing our motors and fuel systems. I cut open the old fuel lines and they had brown mush on the inside; even running a 2 micron fuel water separator, my filters would clog in short order...

    248 Voyager Tank Replacement

The 56 was easy to replace. I think the harder part for you would be adding the fill and vent hoses.

    248 Voyager Tank Replacement

AGM Tanks in Florida. Nice fab work at a good price. I sent the original blueprints from Grady White customer service and Matt from AGM did a great job.

    248 Voyager Tank Replacement

Replacing both the 56 and 105 gallon tanks on my 96 248 Voyager. The 56 is installed with new hoses and hardware- no issues. The 105 looks to be quite a bit more involved to swap out. The tank runs about 10” under the main deck and it looks like cutting the bulkhead may be the only option for...

Best compound and Wax for bringing back a 2004 Hull?

I would use On/Off Hull cleaner for the waterline and below- But follow the directions carefully and cover the trailer. It works great and will remove those stains with ease. It will do damage to the aluminum if contacted FYI. Topside- 3M Restorer and wax works well if you have oxidation...

    228 seafarer seaswirl proline

I had a 2301 Seaswirl- Liked it until I experienced the "death lean" with 6 passengers on board. Boat basically laid on its side chine coming off a wake- a combination of speed ,trim, tabs and weight. Pulled off the throttle and steered out of it- with my heart pounding out of my chest- Google...

    Re-powered my GW226 with a Honda BF250

The V-tech system kicks in on the Honda at around 4200 RPM's- You will see a noticeable difference in power beyond that RPM range. Hondas are smooth and efficient motors but they are highly fuel sensitive. Be diligent with filter changes and fresh clean fuel and you will get thousands of hours...

    Repower Voyager 248

I’ve got a 96 Voyager with an 02 BF225. When I’m not battling ethanol fuel issues (a story for another thread), she tops out at 42 @6000 RPM. Trim tabs out of the hole make planing much easier- the boat is very tab responsive. I have the hardtop also- it’s a great rig but twins would only...

    1998 232 Gulf Stream Honda 225

I have a 96 248 Voyager with a hardtop and an 02 Honda 225 with 600 hours. With a 15-1/2x15p prop I turn 6000-6100 RPM and can see 42mph on a good day with the right sea conditions. The Hondas like to be in the 5800-6000 range WOT. These Hondas wind up pretty good when the Vtec kicks in. Things...
