    Non-Custom Hard Tops

We have been toying with the idea of a hArd top, and saw the stuff Atlantic makes at the boat show. They claim to fit well, but I saw posts here from a few years back saying the "top in a box" kits never work out. Still the consensus? Anyone use one of these for their boat? Price was good - I...

    Raymarine e7 / Mooring w/ Electronics

Given limited space, we are thinking of going with the Raymarine e7 as a fishfinder/chartplotter/depth finder. I know it is new, but anyone have any real world experience yet? We have read most of the reviews out there (good) and spent time with it at the NY boat show - we like it a lot. Curious...

    2011 Sheduled Events

Would love to hear more about this trip to Block. Would love to do it, though not sure I would consider it in my 20' Overnighter, at least not without a caravan over. Do you guys meet up there or caravan over together? What's the smallest boat that makes the trip?

When is it time to replace gas tank?

Made several calls to get an estimate for a replacement tank. Anyone got a recommendation for a vendor in the northeast, ideally Long Island?

    New Panel by VectorLed

I am having Scott do a new switch and gauge panel for my 1990 Overnighter, too. You guys going black or faux wood? I think we will go with the basic black. I will post pics once it is done.

Sealant for floor fuel tank access hatch?

    Perfect guys, thanks.

Sealant for floor fuel tank access hatch?

Per another thread I posted today, we popped our sagging floor hatch over the weekend to get a replacement fabricated. It had been sealed in place really, really well, with an unidentifiable clear caulking. For all I know, it could have been factory. Anyway, when we get the replacement hatch...

When is it time to replace gas tank?

At the risk of asking a dumb question, what should I be looking for, short of evidence of an actual fuel leak, in deciding whether to replace my fuel tank in a 1990 Overnighter? Is the age alone enough for me to just get it over with? Is any corrosion reason to replace, or should I be looking at...

    1989 204 Overnighter w/ 04' yamaha

Re: 1989 204 Overnighter w/ 04' yamaha *New Boat* iaveronej, FYI, We just took the main access / fuel tank hatch to a fiberglass guy in West Babylon that was recommended to us. $500 to re-fab the entire thing, will have it in a week or two. You sound more handy than I am - it would take me...

    Intro/Overnighter Modifications

Great. Saw your other posting, seems like we have a lot of the same work ahead. I am going to go down to the boat this weekend, remove the hatch, and take it to a fabricator for an estimate - I know you said you are going to do the work yourself, but I'll tell you what he is charging if you are...

    Atlantic 26

Agree - the one negative of that boat seems to be a lack of an interior helm, but where would you put one? I have seen a few older Pacemakers and Penn Yenns of that size (26') that did have an interior helm and flybridge, but I don't see how you would do the same in the Atlantic without ripping...

    Atlantic 26

Eye of the beholder, I guess - I love the look and use of space, and I seriously considered calling the guy in NY (he's right near my house) even though I had imposed a hard-and-fast "single engine only" rule on my boat hunt. Still, I'd love to see one of these in person.

    furuno electronics

FWIW, we are in the same position with our "new to us" 1990 204. We've gone through all of the electronics and decided to toss everything except a Standard handheld radio that seems to have some life left in it and we can use as a back-up. Anyway, my father went to our local West Marine on...

    Intro/Overnighter Modifications

Thanks for the response - I will check for those posts. End of the day, we might have a professional do the work in the offseason, as it is such a high-traffic area and we don't want to screw it up.

    1990 Overnighter rod holders

I don't know, but we were taking several off of our new 1990 204-C and you are welcome to them. Seem to be in good shape. Have the mount for the ones on the midships bait wells as well as several extra that the prior owner had laying in the cabin.

    Intro/Overnighter Modifications

Well, already got one answer from GW - there are subtle changes to the Overnighter/Adventure that changed the sizes of cushions, etc. They referred us to local dealer. Love to hear responses on other questions. Thanks again! -Bryan

    Intro/Overnighter Modifications

Hello List, My father and I just bought a 1990 20' Overnighter with a 2005 Mercury 150. Home port will be Northport, NY on the north shore of Long Island. Weare psyched after being out of boating for about 15 years. We are making our to-do list for the next few months. This forum has already...
