Thanks for the suggestion. The boat is close to the 1000 hr mark so I'm going to go ahead and have that done as well while the boats in the shop. I'm sure there are a few ways to clear the carbon out but I'm going to try the Yamaha recommended treatment first and go from there. Thanks Nick

Thanks, the water pump is clear. It doesn't even try to turn on though because the thermostat shuts off after a couple seconds. This is why I thought maybe that water pump through a breaker or something and was telling the thermostat to shut off. Any other ideas? Thanks Nick

2005 Marlin, my AC will click on when I flip the switch but after a few seconds shuts itself off with No lights on the temp panel. Is there a reset switch somewhere? thanks Nick

Just wanted to update this thread, better late than never. Turned out to be just a clogged vent as mentioned above. A mudd dobber got in there and clogged it good.

2 possibilities, first the obvious that he meant 9k. Second he's going through a divorce and he was ordered to put the boat up for sale. Technically it is for sale :<><

I have a triple ax continental with light truck tires and electric over hydraulic breaks. Trailer works great, it's a 2005 and is still in great shape. I pull mine with a 2500 4x4 diesel. It's really not a big deal once you get use to it.

Try charter lakes, I switched from NBOA to them. Don't know exactly what the price difference was but it was worth it.

Sounds to me like you have an airlock. Try with the seacocks open and running on a plane turning on the Ac. If you do not have a generator or want another option then loosen hose clamp on the hose connecting seacock to Ac water pump with the seacock closed, once you have loosened the hose clamp...

It's been a while and I didn't do the work myself. A boat builder in ther area does glass work and he did it for me. The forward one would probably not work as a coffin fish box like mine but you should be able to figure something out. Good luck Nick.
