Can anyone tell me if the added expense for this option is worth it for a Garmin 540 series?

So here is some more info. Can the 208 fit the bill of a family fisherman? Mostly bottom fishing close to Cape May/Widwood shoreline with the kids but occasionally heading offshore between 10 to 20 miles with bigger "kids".

Not yet. A little stuck between what I can afford and what I need. 3 kids between 2 and 8. Fishing might be tough on a 208

Does anyone have any performance data on 2003 or so Gulfstream 232 with a 225 4 stroke yamaha? I have seen some posts that suggest a single engine for a 232 is a bit underpowered for that boat. I did look on Grady's website but couldn't find anything.
