    2002 F225 Trim/Tilt Motor DB Electric

Good to know, i wasn't too worried about a warranty at this price, it's more about the hassle to haul the boat and deal with changing it out. Yamaha rips you on these things, because they can...

    2002 F225 Trim/Tilt Motor DB Electric

Anyone ever used these? About 1/5 the cost of the Yam replacement, i'm not expecting the same exact quality but then again it's not exactly the same price. Mine is corroded beyond belief. it was bad when i bought the boat a few years ago and i've nursed it along by painting it every year but...

2002 282 livewell and washdown hose replacement

The marina that did the work is in Edgewater, MD, Abell Custom Marine. I think Brad was the one that got assigned the job, absolute ninja getting in there. They don’t do outboard work but they do everything else and man do they know their stuff. If I get in a jam with a job they are where I go.

Talk to me about the GW Express 305

I have a 282. I shopped them for a while when I was considering upgrading to either 30 or a 33. I felt there weren’t enough benefits to outweigh the premium over comparably equipped Marlins. Helm seemed a bit cramped. Cabin was a def upgrade as are the looks but I also like to fish the bow of my...

2002 282 livewell and washdown hose replacement

Actually no, the smallest guy they had slithered his way in far enough and got to them. I was stunned. Ended up being a pretty great job if u ask me.

2002 282 livewell and washdown hose replacement

Anyone ever had to tackle this job? My original black rubber hoses are cracking and probably starting to leak. Access is miserable for almost any job on a 282. How bad is this? I was considering just farming this out to my local marina. I had them do the scupper hoses and they did a great job...

Looking to buy Rub Rail end caps

Ever get any clarity on this? I’m in the same spot and was looking at that part. I have a 2002 282 Sailfish.

New to me 1997 228G, Off Season PM

Thank you for the info. I'm planning on tearing this apart and doing most of this at once. It seems that while I have the livewell removed i might as well handle anything else in need of attention in there. I'm not a tall guy nor am i particularly limber so we'll see how well I can access all...

New to me 1997 228G, Off Season PM

All, I'm new here but just acquired a 228G in Maryland. The boat is pretty clean, the only issue I've had is that the cover to the fuel tank is getting soft, but I knew that going in, so I have some projects lined up for this fall and want to see if there is anything else I just do based on...
