Never had a boat with painted bottom. Been reviewing options on best method to clean bottom and scum line. Most Vermont power boats are not painted. Not sure I have found anything yet and wanted to reach out to those owners having a painted bottom. Tips?

I am not on an official Great Lake, but on Lake Champlain I troll with one of my 150’s and a trolling bag and get down to 1.2. Switch engines next time out. Great for Lake Trout and if I remove the bag get up to salmon speeds.

I have the setup described but use 15# balls to get deep in Lake Champlain which I believe is part of the problem On the high speed return. I ordered some 15” snubbers this morning and will see how they react. Thanks for the comments!

Depending up the age of the cables/boat I would recommend replacing both sets as only one was done on my 232 prior to my purchase and they are now different when moving both throttles in gear due to stretching.

Got to thinking the other day are the lids some what similar/same over models? Cars have many similar parts and wondered about trying to be to specific on a boat year and model. I need two covers for live well and storage behind driver and curious of options. Apologies as not trying to take over...

Curious if anyone has added a grab bar anywhere to assist in getting up on the swim platform. The twins take a lot of space and not much to grab trying to get out of the water after a swim. Kids seem to make it easily but us old folks struggle!

$3.69 looks cheap as on Lake Champlain I paid 4.22. NY side is generally another .10-.13 more.
