I had both Duracell and Interstate batteries and the Interstate lasted much longer. I’ll pay the extra money for the Interstates.

The further south in Fla you go the more inlets you have. From Ft Pierce to Ft Lauderdale the inlets are pretty close together.

I have 2013 Yamaha I4s on my ‘01 282 Sailfish. Cruise at 28mph burning 16gph 4100rpm. That is with full fuel and water, 100lbs of family “stuff” and 2 adults, 3 kids

I got 53mph out of my ‘95 Islander with twin 200 HPDIs at around 5200 rpm. Never fully opened it up. I would cruise around 28 knots at 3600 burning 14.7gph.

I took my old Islander to a shop and they made templates and fabricated new ones without having the old cushions. It was expensive but not nearly what Grady wanted
