94 Marlin, looking to replace outriggers

Do you have any pictures of your setup? My outriggers are on the side of my house. I planned on selling them but haven't gotten around to it.

94 Marlin, looking to replace outriggers

My boat lift has a roof so I had to remove the Lee's outriggers. I'd like to buy telescoping Tacos or similar and mount to the hard top. My question is; is the hard top strong enough or will I need to have aluminum supports fabricated? Thanks!

I am also curious how the smaller hose is tapped into the system. With my 6500 btu system I have a top exit "Y". Sorry, I'm not trying to hijack the thread. LB

I thought I noticed that too. I loved the scraping sound when backing down the ramp. LB

Generator advice to power accessories while at sea

Hey Bobcat, I have a Marlin as well and installed an AC this past winter. I was planning to purchase the Honda 2000 portable. My question is how bad does it vibrate? I have a friend that was trying to "hang" his generator to help eliminate the vibration. Not sure what generator he is using...

Removing the cheap look from my grady.

Did you paint it? If so, were there any problems. LB

Removing the cheap look from my grady.

Yeah, I agree. I belt sanded all my fake wood trim off mine. I then fine sanded and refinished with stain & polyurethane. It's been a couple of years and still looks pretty good. It was a good deal of work but I was able to do a few pieces at a time and at my convenience so it wasn't too bad. LB

Are you going to run a 4" duct to the head or something smaller? I installed an AC this winter in my Marlin. It's a 1994. According to the factory manual for that year they did not have AC going to the head. I would like to run a 2-3" duct to it due to space limitations and the limited cooling...

Not sure about the bamboo but I have a friend who's recently restored a BW that put in a teak floor and steps. He got the wood from Home Depot. LB

Is distance really a problem? It would seem to me that as long as the hose is not crimped you should be OK. Wouldn't the restriction be the smallest opening and not the length? How long do you estimate it to be? 7-8 ft? If so, I don't think I'd worry too much about it. I could be wrong but it...

    Really stumped on gas gauge

Who in the world decided that pink would be a good color choice for ground? That is funny. LB

You can download your manual here. There is a diagram of the AC components you can follow. http://gradywhite.com/customer/manuals/ I just installed an AC for my Marlin. I installed it just like the factory would have. Have fun. Mine was a pain. LB

    Cabin Steps Nonskid

I had the interior cushions and drapes in my Marlin recovered recently in a navy blue. I replaced the non skid on the steps with a similar indoor/outdoor carpet from Home Depot. It's not slippery and it looks great with the interior. Just another option. LB

    Panel replacement with Starboard?

I did the exact same thing on my 94 Marlin this past Spring. It turned out great. I even went as far as replacing some of the other rotten laminated wood with starboard. If you didn't know it was starboard you wouldn't notice it at all. The white color matched almost perfectly. On a side...

330 cabin modification-removed galley dinette table

Guess I'm the fool in this thread. I have a 94 Marlin and hated the look of the stock table, mostly the lousy plastic molding around the corners. I just built a new one out of oak. It looks awesome... We did use the original table ONCE for dinner in the Bahamas this past Spring. I don't recall...
