    Overnighter seat replacement

I have a 1983 Overnighter which I have been restoring/upgrading for several years. I'd like to replace the original seats. Does anyone have any recent experience with suitable replacements. The width is a key factor I'mm sure. Thanks, BCBryan.

    Overnighter Rod Storage

Thanks Mike; Yes another possibility for the hole would be the fitting they use for running computer wires thru a desk top. All my salmon rods are two piece, they break down, so they are about 5' long for storage, about 9-10 feet in use. Cheers, BCBryan.

    Overnighter Rod Storage

Overnighter Rod Storage Rod storage in the small cutting cabin of the overnighter can be a problem. To prevent rods from being damaged it’s a good idea to get them up and out of the way and not leave them on the cushions. Here is one solution to that problem. I decided to mount rod holders...

Soft forward floor on 83 over niter.

Greetings: I also have a 1983 205 Overnighter Gulfstream (I/O) which I purchased in 2009. When I got the boat I knew that the floors were soft near the transom. After using the boat for two years I did a bit of investigating and discovered, with the help of a surveyor, that my transom was shot...

    Overnighter seat boxes-Requesting info

Hi Lt Mike: My plan for the seat boxes is to put trays of fishing lures in there as well as flashers and related small gear. I have not built them yet since the new top is currently being installed and here on the Pacific NM we don't really start salmon fishing for a couple of months; so winter...

    Overnighter seat boxes-Requesting info

Thanks Bread, I think that would be useful. I know they had the boxes under the seats in 1987. My plan is to custom make them and use Plano boxes in the stbd. side and put drawer on the port side. A few shots and notes on how they were done would be great. I gather from some other comments that...

On the list of winter upgrade to my 1983 Overnighter 205 Gulfstream I plan to add the seat boxed beneath the two swivel seats. At some point after 83 Grady-white added the seat boxes which look like idea storage spots for fishing gear. Could someone with this feature please send me a few photos...

    Overnighter Wiring harness

Greetings All: I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1983 Grady-white Overnighter Gulfstream with the 470-488 Mercruiser engine. Assuming that these boats were built with regular (not tinned) wire, I would like to locate a marine wire harness for the rebuild. Any suggestions as to supplier or...
