A friend of mine just bought a super high quality 3 axle for Marlin for 7k. Id expect somewhere around 5K
But you can buy all those parts and they aren't super difficult if you have a good sawsall
For those of you that have this set up, or even with the 3.3L 250's...
I tried a set of Mecury Enertia 15X15P off a friends boat and realized I needed them. So I bought a set from Ken at Prop Gods this Spring
Hole shot to top end is perfect. WOT is exactly 6000rpms. The boat handles...
Fuel Pick Up In Tank ( that one can drive you crazy)
Fuel lines, sucking air, pinched, clogged, deteriorating
Water in Fuel separator

I have a 98 and don't have any of those cracks.
I have a marlin with F225's. I am using Enertia 15 X15P and they are outstanding. WOT is right at 6000.
The boat rides extremely well with them.
Yesterday I was cruising at 22kts getting 1.7mpg. Generally I cruise about 24 or so getting 1.4-1.5
I had those 17P props. I tried the 15P...
My Jabsco vertical head pump died on me. Anyone have any insight or experience replacing or upgrading ?
Its the model with a circular dial switch on the top.
Thanks
I just got some grand slam outriggers with 16' poles. Anyone have experience on what sort of reinforcement will be needed for the top ?
We would generally be leaving them fully extended in some big seas. i had a Parker that would have had its top ripped off under similar conditions if not...
I also tow a Grady Marlin (F250) on triple axle aluminum. I find it to be very stable and have very little wobble. 3 axles of surge brakes really help stop it well also.
I don't see any need for the WDH.

Looks like that thing took a hit. I'd be concerned and looking forward to what the Surveyor has to say. Interesting the exterior isn't cracked- maybe the paint/gel was just very thick and its superficial. Any future buyers would definitely have concerns when they see it also.
