    Rain Water entering bilge

I think the rainwater is getting into my bilge from two sources. The cupholders on the live well at the transom are probably the main culprit. That's like having a three inch hole in the deck, times two! Also the seats located at the transom are designed for water to run off onto the deck...

    Rain Water entering bilge

Rain Water enters my bilge while in exposed dry rack storage. How do I know this? Be cause the stern bilge pump kicks on when the boat is lifted up and tilded back with the Fork Lift. And we have been getting a lot of rain on the Georgia Coast! I suspect the anchor locker, the rear seats...

    Bow rail pennant mast

Thanks Since my Bow rail already has a 1/2" hole predrilled in it, I prefer to use the staff that is held in the hole by a set screw. I feel fairly confident that by getting a longer set screw, and drilling a hole in the staff itself so that the set screw will penetrate the staff, will...

    Bow rail pennant mast

The one I am looking for mounts in a predrilled hole in the rail "connector" where the bow rail joins together in the forward part of the boat. It also has a set screw in it to keep the mast from falling out. The hole I am guessing is probably 1/2" diameter

    Bow rail pennant mast

My 1988 Grady 22 Seafarer has a hole in the rail with a set screw to a pennant mast. The factory does not sell them. Anyone know where I can get a replacement ?

    Transducer Mounting

Exactly! On the hill looking from the bow rearward one could just Visualize the bubbles flowing toward the stern. And sonar cannot penetrate air! Thanks.

    Transducer Mounting

Thank you! You have given me a brilliant idea. I plan to make use of my "extra" pad on the transom to put in a cheap underwater light for my amusement. Drilling a hole in the bottom of your boat to put in a light has to be close to insanity. The probability of it sinking your boat is huge...
