Rate this deal**MY BOAT SEARCH THREAD**

My 1998 OX 66's are fuel injected. I do not have enough time to tell how thirsty they are. That price does sound a little high to me.

No wonder dealers are going out of business

Sometimes they are their own worse enemies. They are the first to complain about a down economy or slow sales yet most do nothing to make it better. The good ones will survive. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Makes you wonder what your service experience will be like?

Difference between 272 and 282 Sailfish

Would that be the full running length of the bottom - or the changes to the cabin?

Difference between 272 and 282 Sailfish

Well when it comes to cockpit I would say the 252 is bigger as they added that molded in rear seat/livewell area in the 272. I assume when the went from bracket to euro transom is when they changed the model - (just guessing) They didnt count the bracket on the originals as length on the model...

Difference between 272 and 282 Sailfish

I have a 1998 272 Sailfish and I have been told that 1998 was the first year they extended the running surface all the way to the stern. (ie no step up). I am very pleased with its ride and handling over my previous bracketed hull. I thought that was good at the time too.... its just all...

    Price check price check please

I tend to type model year and model name in google with the words for sale and see what else is out there - then you get a general idea of what the market is for them. I did this and found this one in MD for $109k http://www.boattrader.com/find/listing/ ... H-90983662 In Florida for...

    Im back in a Grady

Had her out about 10 miles offshore on Tuesday - call it our first shake down run. Logged a total of 50 miles - Conditions were a little less than ideal but the boat ran great. Caught a few small Sea Bass and one 17" Fluke. (18" is keeper in NJ) The boat performed well. Winds were kicking...

    Sailfish Helm Seat Options?

I just saw the Grady Design on their website - very attractive and looks to mount right to a standard pedestal.

    Sailfish Helm Seat Options?

Im not fond of this particular one - seems more bowriderish... http://veada.com/product/22_9-Helm-Seat ... lster.html But I think it gets the point across. Is that what Grady is now offering? Something similar?

    Sailfish Helm Seat Options?

I have a 1998 272 Sailfish - It has a plastic molded drivers seat with some snap on cushions. I am more of a leaning or stand up driver than a sit down driver. I have to push the seat all the way back to lean on it which requires me to unsnap my rear canvas. Its really not the most...

    Im back in a Grady

Got her out of the the previous owners yard. It was a hard move but well worth it. She is now at a marine service center to get the tanks pumped and motors looked over.

    Im back in a Grady

To be honest I am curious how she handles around the docks. Its took me a bit to get used to how the bracketed boat behaved in reverse. It may have been you who coached me into trimming the motors up to keep the props from pushing water at the transom. I assume this boat will behave more...

    Im back in a Grady

Thanks Bob - Someone else just told me the same thing today. That was just dumb luck on my part. I assume it should ride differently than my 92 Dolphin. She was bracketed with twin 200's - Also was a SeaV2 hull. This boat just seems bigger overall and I like the transom. I will be giving...
