I did confirm that this new 2011 GW 225 does come with a Yamaha F200 engine. Just don't know if it would be too underpowered for this boat?

No - it was not me. I took too long debating between a 205 and 225. Now I am focused on a 2007 225 with 124 hours on a F250 Yamaha. I think $38,000 would buy it. Does that price sound good as long as the boat checks out?

Thanks - I tried, but it looks like they will only accept about 26k. Boat shows like new. I have a better idea of 225 tournament prices than the 205's.

Hello - I have been looking at used GW 205 and 225's. I think I might go for a used 2004 205 with very low miles and Yamaha F150 engine. Price is around 26k and boat is in excellent condition. Does that seem like a fair price? It seems like a similar year 225 is in the high 30's to low...

I really like the look of this boat, as I prefer the euro transom compared to the extended bracket on the 225. Looks much sleeker.

I saw it at our local boat show and my wife and I really liked it. Thought it was a great looking boat. I thought the quality was as good or better than the Grady 225. Retail price was about 102k and show price was around 80k. Still a lot for a boat that is 24 ft.

That is an unbelievable price for that boat. I looked at a used on last spring and they wanted around 160k. Probably would have bought the boat at the price had I known about it.
