Have finished adding an additional bilge pump to my 272 Sailfish(see Bilge Modifications thread)...now have two 2000 gph Rule pumps in the aft bilge and a 1500 gph Rule in the forward bilge as well as the shower sump pump. Am now trying to decide how I want the three pumps set up to the battery...

RobertH is right on. There is a fuse block in the forward, s/b corner of the radio box. Has two 10amp and two 15amp fuses. Have taken out the radios and the excess radar cable and can now see it clearly.....about 1.3 arm lengths into the back of the box. Radios and radar have power...

Lost power to the courtesy/spreader dome light under the hardtop. Can find no fuses/breakers listed for the system(the manual does indicate a breaker(???) at the "accessory panel" for the spreader lights) and no fuses at the fuse block. Any thoughts or knowledge concerning a fuse/breaker...

Have had great success using 4200 quick cure for regluing the vinyl trim in places where I can use clamps, etc. Having a real problem with the "inside" curves on the aft deck of my 272, especially the curves around the aft seat/battery access hatch. The trim is 4-5 years old and continues...

My Sailfish 272 has access doors into each seat pedestal. The port pedestal has the internal tackle drawers, the S/B pedestal has storage space. The door frames are rigid plastic of some type(not starboard). They have become extremely yellowed through the years, probably through sun damage...

Re-installed dried out charger and connected one of the three batteries in the boat.....Voltage initially at 16.8V then quickly dropped to 12.9V on a newly charged battery. Hooked up other two banks with approximately same result. Charger seems to be performing as well as prior to the water...

I asked Marinco(Guest) about the waterproof issue. Got a fuzzy story which said "it depends on the model". My 2630 is 11-12 years old and is no longer manufactured and "it may withstand water intrusion" was the answer. Will know later today......

My Guest 2630 30amp 3 bank charger(about 11 years old) was heavily soaked with fresh water....took it out of boat and dried it out with a heat gun......plugged it in on the bench and checked voltage on the three positive leads versus the ground lead. All three leads are putting out approx. 17.3...

After years of scrapped knuckles, elbows, etc. while trying to operate the A/C raw water valves, service the bilge pump, etc. through the pie plate in the aft bilge panel, I would like to replace the panel with an access hatch which is easily opened/closed. Tired of re-caulking the existing...
