Seeking Advice for Small Spinning Reel

I really like Shimano reels. I think SPHEROS 6000 should do what you need. It has a waterproof drag system and is as tough as they come.

That boat was at 15 or 20k a few weeks ago on ebay. I agree, it is a bunch of work and $$$$$. Hard to take on a project like that. :bang

How to clean hard plastic fighting chair?

I used the Clorox Cleanup a couple of times with decent results. It still could not get the deep stuff, but did take the majority away. I may try the Nine if I see it in the stores. I don't have a pressure washer, but may be able to swindle a friend for a loaner!

Hello everyone, I am cleaning my boat and decided to give it a scrub from top to bottom. I have a hard plastic fight chair that I believe is the same material as the helm chairs. I had this sitting behind my shed for close to 2 years and it is kinda yucky. Algae has decided to take residence and...

At full throttle, a slow go

I did replace the plugs recently and they are still clean. The engine had about 50 hrs on a rebuild before I got it. I will see if I can look for any other trouble signs from what was mentioned above.

    Best filet knife

Well it depends on what you are going to be filleting. Little sprat or jumbo Tuna? Make sure your knife bends how you want and hold a good edge. Not sure of the higher dollar brands but I have a Dexter($20-30) and seems to hold up fine. I can't seem to bring myself paying big bucks for a knife...

    Raw water hose connection

I recently bought a coiled hose to wash the deck of the boat. When I went to install it, I realized the fitting on the boat was a female piece and so was the hose end. Is there an adapter of do I need a different hose with a male adapter? Norm

Water entering cabin when it rains

Pay close attention to the seals on the window. It may be trickling from one spot to the other depending how level the boat is.

    Yamaha paint codes

I had my engine looking rough with sun damage when I bought it and went to a dealer for Evinrude for paint. They had the color for the year and I prepped the engine and painted it myself with cans. Finished it with a high gloss clear and it came out real nice.

    Cleaning teak inside cabin?

Yeah I looked it over and realized not a safe bet. I spent an hour and a half removing all the teak in the boat. Gonna give a real nice scrub and oil then see a new looking boat before me.
