Thanks for sharing! Might do the same! did it simnifically dampen the sound? I dont generally use the generator much (4.2K FP), but the other day I was using it at a quiet anchor and found the sound quite annoying, specially the humming sound it brings into de cabin area.

Derigging and removing the FP is not a bad job, as long as you can fit around the generator and an assist to lift it up out. Do as much research and look into alternatives, replacing with new FP is really expensing.

Hello guy, to update and for reference if anybody encounters the same situation. Turned out to be a faulty Air Conditioner capacitor (do not know which one specifically), technician replaced it and back to normal voltage of 115vac under load. Thanks again!

I agree with you, in theory voltage should not drop with load as the generator compensates, but with my experience, it does, the amount which it does is the discussion. Appliances work within a range of voltage. Not trying to drag out the discussion. Thanks for the help!

I believe so, would have to double check. Were your relays located inside the capacitor box? Is voltage control box = the box that houses the capacitors? Can you verify the normal operating voltage displayed while running the A/C battery charger on the generator? Thanks for the reply

Original location for the helm speakers, although upgraded to JL Audio and added two extra on the deck, see attached picture. Mine had access holes there already the perfect size for the speakers, zero modification needed other than to cut the cushion.

I put mine under the refrigerator, 2003 GW330. Its a small 4 channel amplifier, Kenwood KAC-M1804.
