    New prop results on overnighter

Thanks for reply. Specs out at 6200 max rpms. I agree with flex, wanted a cheaper option to try first. Will probably go Ss at some point. Would like to hear other opinions on their props for the overnighter with a 150 hp option.

    New prop results on overnighter

Took the 90 overnighter out for trial run with new prop last weekend and it resulted in excellent results. I bought this rig 2 years ago and after researching this winter I picked up a solas 13 7/8 dia, 4 blade 15 pitch aluminum. It would only top out around 5300 with a 18 pitch Ss 3 blade...

    What pitch prop

I have a 90 overnighter with 140 suzuki 4 stroke using a 3 blade 14 - 18 Ss prop and it does not get close to max rpm topping out at 5200-5400. I'm thinking of a 4 blade 14-15 or 16. 200 hours on strong motor, no trim tabs and transom mounted.Any comments?

    what truck to buy?

Pull my overnighter with 08 tacoma 4x4 with tow pkge. Get 11.5 mph and it pulls better than my old 97 ford v8 f150 4x4. My son in law thinks its no match but that truck has some balls to it. Have to have trailer brakes though and I. Installed whole brake system last year. Towed 450 miles last...

    mounting downriggers to 204-c

Gonna be bringing a new baby to me home next week. The 1990 overnighter has a closed inside gunnel area and I wondered how you would access this area for applying back plates, cut access holes or mount a rail system some how. Will not try using the rod holders as mounts because of 15# ball...

    survey results

Thursday I contacted the surveyor again for one more discussion on the boat. Left rear gunnel cleat area showed delamination from corner to 7 inches forward. Also the starboard cockpit area in front of the seat had an 8 inch square spider crack area with delamination shown . These are from meter...

    survey results

Some clarification is needed. The motor is a 2004 year model with 35 hours on it and considered in very good condition. The boat has small areas of water intrusion around surface fittings and some deck water intrusions. The surveyor considered the boat worth 17,900 after repairs are done. Asking...

    Next up sea trial

My survey on a 90 overnighter came up pretty clean with excellent motor compression on the 2004 150 yamie 2 stroke with 32 hours on the meter and a couple small wet spots around gunnel hardware. Transom was in good condition. He declared it a nice boat for its age and suggested removing all...

    proper trolling kicker size

I'm looking to add a kicker for my 204-C and need some hp suggestions. I'll be fishing lake ontario with it and don't want to underpower the boat. I am also mindful of added weight dropping my scuppers too low. I have a 150 yamie 2 stroke main and want to add seperate steering and trim/lift to...

Finally getting my GW- comments welcome

Started in 1986 on Lake ontario and could not help but be mesmerized by Gradys going by me on the lake. I finally have a chance to own one. Located a 1990 204-C Overnighter last weekend. The seller for me was a boat never moored but always trailered, a 2006 5300# cap. galvanized tandem trailer...
