Hi all, I got a new to me Grady a couple months ago and am fishing out of Morro Bay, CA. Was wondering if anyone here is local to me.

Jake

I'm north of you in Santa Cruz, might be interested in swapping fishing trips. I here the vermiliion fishing is good down there. I can put you on halibut, rock fish, ling cod, crab, salmon (if they give us a season). Working on albacore and bluefin.

I'd check the regional forums below on the main page. Might get more action there.

I'm in Cambria right now, little mini vacation with my wife. Love the area and when rockfish opens I might pull my Grady down to Morro Bay and try my luck for a few days.

How and the Hell do post this Krap ? I was trying to answer the Moro Bay Jake and

Hang tight For Long Fins.

You can not even imagine what fishing was like in the day
We where Pros for the Central Coast. Been hard for me to contact you, Wife of 52 years just passed. She was a Pro also . Charlie was a Abb diver when we started. Wife and I went to CF and Deck Officers. All 3 of us have 70 years each. I bought a 30 Marlin for the late summer Alby,s hoping my wife could get a trip or two in.. and we can find then !! along with everything else. I'm doing a major up date on the Marlin, it has less than 200 hours. found in a barn. The Mellow boy and Billy boy are done. No live Bait, but I will show you how to get around it.. I worked on Lampra nets when I was young.
The delta was my wife and I favorite.
Hang tight,

You can call me easier for me.

I'm about 20 miles north of Morro Bay right now and I've seen 4 fishing boats up here. I'm not sure, but I think the closest boat ramp is Morro Bay, right? Do boats come up here to fish because there is less pressure or what? I'm completely clueless about fishing out of Morro Bay but would like to learn. We've really enjoyed our little vacation down to the Cambria area.
