Need Fuel Valve help

Yeah thats what I thought too, until i installed it and every time it pointed to the "Left/Aux s" it didnt flow fuel.
hehehe... No its right. The bottom port goes to filter/separator. Left and right choose tank. Middle closes all ports.. Looks exactly like the OEM. Even says Anderson on the handle.

Looks right. Points to open side Hehehe I’m pretty sure 1/4npt is right.
Got mine today! Thanks for finding thes SB!!! And they do work as the originals did!

My valves are on the starboard side of the hull. Since there are 2 tanks (156 and 150 gal) mounted in-line fore and aft, the pointers point forward and aft just like the tank placement.

Reviving an old thread. My 96 Voyager tank selection valve is “sloppy”. Loose handle when selecting tanks. Could it be sucking air?
Main tank I have no issues but on the auxiliary my motor will buck at high RPMs. Checked fuel, drained filters and VST. No water or debris. Switch back to main and all is well. Tanks replaced 2 seasons ago with all fuel/ vent lines. Bad valve?

Sounds like the handles are loose. You can replace the valves. Search GG "skunkboat fuel valve". He did his last year.

Single 250. Is it possible the valve can let air into the fuel system if bad? It’s a 29 year old valve.

Maybe. Unlikely. Swap hoses or buy a new valve.

If the problem can be switched with the valve then the valve is fine. It's your hose from the tank.

I’ll double check the hoses but all were done when I did the tanks two years ago. That’s why I suspect the valve.

I would expect that a air sucking fuel valve would leak gasoline if no suction from engine is applied and honestly in doubth i would replace the two fuel valves as they are not expensive and easy to find.
Check by eye the fuel filter for air bubbles with engine running, the water separating one if you have a clear bowl and/or the engine mounted one.
There should no air bubbles seen to come in if there is no air leak. and it's normal that fuel level lower and rise, but no bubbles or foamy gasoline.

Did you try running with the aux tank's fuel cap off to see if you have vacuum building up from a clogged vent line or fitting?

Could also just temporarily bypass the valve to see if it's the problem.
