Same problem here (2012) Grady. They have stopped making this fake wood as it did not work. At one time they would replace free of charge. At this point its best to replace with starboard.

Hi Dennis - the back has a hole and the magnet is glued in. Its completely rusted and stains hands (and upholstery) - thats why I put it in the ziploc. Surprised that the vendor did not at the very least epoxy the back so that the magnet would not corrode.

Hi Folks, This is for a 2012 337 Freedom which has a fold down table on the rear seat. Magnets are pretty oxidized - not sure if anyone knows who MFG these items? Thanks Alex

Update - I replaced the switch as it happened again. All good now (except I ordered the wrong color light - now it looks yellow not red - oh well)
