I did confirm that this new 2011 GW 225 does come with a Yamaha F200 engine. Just don't know if it would be too underpowered for this boat?

So, bottom line is the f200 would not be a good engine for this boat? At least that is what I'm guessing, see most come with f250.

Yes, it is a 2011 f200. So, the motor will not perform well with that hull? I wonder if it would e hard for the to swap it for a f250 and I pay the difference?

Looking a 2011 GW 225 Freedom and it has a Yamaha F200 on it. Usually I see a F250 on the Freedom 225. Will the F200 make the boat underpowered and perform as well?

No - it was not me. I took too long debating between a 205 and 225. Now I am focused on a 2007 225 with 124 hours on a F250 Yamaha. I think $38,000 would buy it. Does that price sound good as long as the boat checks out?

Thanks - I tried, but it looks like they will only accept about 26k. Boat shows like new. I have a better idea of 225 tournament prices than the 205's.

Hello - I have been looking at used GW 205 and 225's. I think I might go for a used 2004 205 with very low miles and Yamaha F150 engine. Price is around 26k and boat is in excellent condition. Does that seem like a fair price? It seems like a similar year 225 is in the high 30's to low...
