    272 Sailfish Cockpit Launcher

Is anyone running a pedestal launcher in their cockpit of their 272 Sailfish? If so, can you share your pictures and experience with how it interferes with space? I am considering it for offshore trips but, concerned about how much space it takes up.

    Sailfish Helm Area Upgrades?

I have a 1995 272 Sailfish and I can't stand the wasted space in the helm to side of each seat. Has anyone done anything unique with this area? I was thinking of taking the boat to a fairly local Starboard fabricator this coming offseason and have him remove the shelf/trim and enclose the whole...

Rebuild 1988 Grady White Offshore Pulpit

Nice work. I replaced the one on my 1995 272 Sailfish with a starboard one made by Offshore Eddy in Cape May, NJ. Was done very well and not crazy expensive. It has tubular aluminum supports sandwiched between the layers and has held up well.

    Sailfish Remote Oil Fill Cutout/Mount

While repowering my 272 Sailfish I broke the plastic recessed mount for the remote oil fill cap. I emailed Grady and didn't get much help. Does anyone know what the proper name is and where I might be able to get them? I would really like to replace it before I put my livewell back in. Thanks

    Deck Drain Thru Hulls

I have 1995 272 Sailfish and I have been replacing all of the thru hulls. I ordered the thru hull fittings according to GW specs but, the one sent for the deck drain scuppers don't have the pre-drilled areas to attach the plastic scupper ring. My question; are the scuppers REALLY necessary or do...

    Thru Hull Drains - Sources

While rigging new to me motors on my 1995 272 Sailfish I will be replacing all of the thru hull drains. I have a parts list from GW but, they use various Attwood and Perko parts. I am having problems finding one place that has all of the drains that I need. Has anyone had any luck sourcing all...

    Oil Fills

Does anyone know where to get the oil fill "wells" (holds the cap/inlet) for a 272 Sailfish. I know I can contact Grady but, was hoping for an aftermarket source. I cracked mine installing new outboards.

    Switch Panels

Thanks. I think I may just stick with breakers. They're actually pretty cheap and won't do to much to add space to the panel. Also, the wires in the boat are already so cluttered, running individual wires to the a new fuse block would be a pain in the ass.

    Switch Panels

I am looking at redoing the switch panel on my 272 Sailfish this winter. My question for those of you who have done this; Did you remove your circuit breakers and replace them with an add-on fuse block? By doing so seems like a great way to save some money and clean up the panel. Thoughts on...

    Thru Hull Size

Does anyone know the size of this broken thru hull above the water line? I think it would be 3/4 but, not sure what the barb size would be. Boat is some distance away from me right now. I believe this is the overboard drain for the shower sump/forward bilge.

    Rigging Tube Size?

Does anyone know what size and length of motor rigging tubes are needed on a 272 sailfish? I'd like to replace mine when repowering next week.

    Fuel tank replacement round 2!

Nice job. Just curious. What size was your tank and what did a replacement cost? I am certain mine are getting to the end of their life.

    272 Sailfish Shift Cable Length

Does anyone know offhand the lengths of shift cable needed on a 1995 272 Sailfish? I cannot see the markings on mine and will be replacing them during a repower. I don't want to wait until I remove them to measure.

    Sailfish Fuel Lines

I will be repowering in a week or two. While doing so I am going to replace all of my fuel lines. Does anyone have a rough idea of how many total feet is needed for twins? I will be ordering it at dealer cost but, it is expensive and I don't need extra lying around. Thanks
