I was at the NYC boat show, 2012, and the GW Marlin, the 315 Conquest and the Pursuit 315 were all there. My girlfriend and I went in and out of each boat multiple times, and clearly the Marlin was the better choice, for me. I think the Helm, mid ship berth, cockpit and details did it for me...

I have been boating in Cape May area and I have had a GW 226 and 282 and now a Marlin. I had my 226 and it was great for the waters. Not sure I would go smaller for ocean though I wold also highly recommend Taylor as well as Beacon Light in the Chesapeake

Congatulations on your new purchase, I also just purchased an 08 marlin, and just getting started with cleaning and waxing the hull, Hope you have many enjoyable hours on your boat

Thanks, are the cockpit speakers surface mounted?, do they face each other, one on starboard and one on port? If so, I guess that configuration works ok Did you mount an amp by any chance?
