The helm dome light has a switch for the white and red lights and another switch for the spreader lights. the spreader light switch is broken and needs replacing. I tried to unscrew the dome unit from inside the upper compartment, they turned but didn't loosen the unit. how do you take them...

The 265 is a Captain's boat. I set a course,then slowly add speed, trim engines up, and trim tab according to conditions. If you do this and run on course you get best performance and speed in consistent conditions w/o pounding. Of course, the stray bigger one will make you splash at speed but...

I've thought about removing the fridge and microwave too! Mine only work on shore power anyway! I use a cooler for food and it fits in the 300Qt. fishbox! Currently I keep 2 gal of Yamalube in the fridge! I don't know about you guys but most times i probably have too much crap on board anyway!

After reading this I may upgrade to 27s next time I buy batteries. I thought they'd fit in new trays but was unsure if they'd go through the holes!
