    RE PROP

Your propped wrong. I had a 1993 marlin 28 with twin 2000 ox66's on it. Ran 5200-5400 lightly loaded @ 40 knots. This boat also had a real full tower on it on that was custom-ed built . Was running yamaha 15 1/4 X 17 props. I actually have an extra set that are in near perfect condition as they...

    Starboard or wood?

Try J.C. Freeman in Dorchester MA. I know they will cut any size that you would need. Im not sure if they ship. But I could do it for you. Im in that area all the time. Best thing would for you to find a contractor working on the island that has material brought over weekly and have them add it...

    Marlin bilge pump hose

Does anyone know the size of the aft bilge pump hose on a 93 Marlin? I want to say 1" because the previous owner installed a new pump and it has 1 1/8 hose spliced into the original coragated junk that the factory installed. The owners manual does not get very specific about the bilge pump...

    Battery Charger 2000 Marlin

I dont know how the newer ones are but my rig was factory set up for 4 batteries on 4 banks.I changed it around to make it 4 batteries on 3 banks. It just did not make much sense to me to have 2 seperate house banks. Plus a new 4 bank battery charger is very large in size and in dollar. 2...

    Battery Charger 2000 Marlin

I just replaced mine. Used 2 grp 31 AGM (DRY) for the house bank I think the combined RC is around 400 min and 2 grp 24 starting 1000 MCA lead acid (WET) for the 2 starting banks. I went with the AGM because the the shitty location that grady came up with for the batteries because you just can't...

    Extended range fuel bladder's

I might use one for Diesel Fuel but for gas no _____ way. Gas is way to explosive for these things and to just roll it up and store it is compleatly nuts again with gas. Diesel is a lot different.

Lost the prime in my freshwater system

You guys need to get away from antifreeze. It costs money, bad for the environment, and stains your sink and gel-cote too. For the fresh water system I use compressed air . I installed some shut off valves then put in a air fitting for my compressor. Open faucets one at a time to bleed off...

Replacing tilt seals on Yamaha 200 HPDI

you can do it . Get a book and if you can remove the unit from the moter it would be even easier for you . Just make sure when you replace any bolts in that moter that use genuine Yamaha bolts. Everything is metric and it is also some kind of strange alloy. The are not stainless steel but are a...

    Larger batteries

They will fit . I have 4 group 31's in my marlin . They are gels. Reason I went with gels is that I dont have to remove them for the winter. It is real tight in there. You also have to go with battery trays to secure . Sorry no picks.
