Went from a 265 to the marlin and it took about 30 minutes to get used to going from the center helm to the starboard. I’m 6 feet, zero visibility issues.

It was in bad shape. Scraped : peeled off what we could a cleaned the surface with acetone. The new “pad” looks nice.

We removed it from our 2013 Marlin that we bought used in 2020 and added a piece of Dekit instead -looks great

We sold our 265 express to a gentleman in WA state and connected him with Diamond Marine in West Haven, CT. Granted the buyer needed a trailer as well, but they handled the transaction. They also trailered the boat we bought from NC to CT on their trailer.

We replaced all the fuel lines on our old 265 like 8-9 years ago. Just pull the cockpit deck and its all in front of you, ezpz. Just rechalk when done.

On our Marlin we suck the salt water out of the sea strainer with a baster and literally pour pink stuff in the discharge with a funnel. Ezpz!!

Reverse flush has worked for us on our Marlin, it just depends how the system is laid out. I have tried the first method of adding "pinkstuff" into the line with the unit on and it didnt work. In order to get reverse to work, at least for us, you need to make room for the pink to push anything...

Its a 2013 and yes appears to have worn from the twisting from tilting. We went with longer hoses in order to give more slack. Skunk, great suggestion but the old hoses has no slack so no way to crimp. Thankfully we had fluid, clamps, zip ties. Moving forward we will carry one of the old...
