Your top speed is a little off, I was doing 49-50 MPH with the same motors and same exact set up and my tank was always 3/4 full. The 1 MPG is just about right. I saw afew times 1.3 but the majority of time was 1.

iI had a 306 and I was very happy with the boat. Selling the boat was a big mistake. She would go where my 330 or 336 go with no problems what so ever. From 25 to 30 is NOT a big jump, go for the 306. Mine was a 2006 with F250's and i was getting 1.3 to 1.5 at cruise of 28 to 32 mph.

I also used his under water and spreader lights and they are very good quality.

Like others said, adjust/play with your trimming. The boat does very well in any sea condition(for me it did).

I had an '07 with 250's and like fishermanbob said you don't need any more power with what you're doing with the boat. Thruster was a big plus for me along with the helm A/C - heat, toasty while black fishing and very comfortable on those July days. Center helm seat, i had the same problem with...
