Grady White Craziness on the Hull Truth...

If you were to listen to the THT'rs you would think that a GW would dissolve about 3 minutes after you put it in the water! If you look at peoples sig lines you would notice that there are a lot of GW owners on there.

Wow you have a good control over your temper. I would have chased the guy down and beat him to an inch of his life with my mag-light. I hope they find the guy, dont count on him having insurance, and lock his ass up.

    1988 Grady-White Repower question

I repowered my 88 Trophy Pro with 2004 200hp Yamaha HPDIs. I bought them used with low hours and they made the boat seem like new. No more grinding and chokeing to start them more speed power and less noise and oil plus MUCH better fuel economy.

beaching it - aka letting your grady sit on the sand?

I have nosed mine in to the sand before, however i have bottom paint to take the rubbing. I dont see a problem with it in that case. I would be more worried about the boat being high and dry.

Beam Width 9'6" and trailering from Maryland to Florida

I wouldnt go throught the CBBT with a wide boat if you meet an oncoming semi-truck going throught the tubes it might not have a happy ending. Besides it would be like a $20+ toll. Unless it saves you LOTs of time and gas i wouldnt do it.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCES WITH SAILFISH, DOLPHIN, ETC

I have a Trophy Pro the main difference between it and the Sailfish is the cabin. The sail has 2 bunks and a small head/shower and a alcohol burner i think. The Trophy has more rod and tackle storage and 1 bunk chemical pottie and no kitchen it a pure fishing machine.
