    ECOS Switch lanyard length

Is there any requirement on how long an ECOS lanyard can be? I doubled mine in order to move around the boat a little. I always seem to forget that I have it attached when I'm docking or slowing down to troll. Killing the engine at a most inopportune time. Causing unneeded problems and possible...

    Converted to hydraulic steering

I converted my 1997 Adventure 208 from mechanical to hydraulic steering. Everything went well. What a pleasant surprise. My next step is to install the Lowrance autopilot. I hope everything goes as smoothly. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Steering cable for autopilot

I am going to install a Lowrance cable steer autopilot on my 1997 Adventure 208 in the spring. Do I need to change the steering cable in order for it to work? If so what type and length of cable do I need. Any other tips would be appreciated. I already have the Lowrance autopilot and Gen 2 units.

    cockpit drains

I own a 1997 Adventure 208. I really have only one major dislike which is the design of the rear cockpit drain holes. They are parallel with the deck with a depression. My boat is docked all summer and these depression hold water and debris. They look nasty in a hurry and need constant cleaning...
