    208 Adventure killed off?

Darn. As a 208 owner, this just plain sucks. This boat has done everything my family has asked of it and brought us back home safe. With regards to the parts options, it's a bummer. I've ordered replacement fiberglass pieces (livewell/cooler lids, pulpit) from my dealer because they are the same...

Looking to buy a used 208 Adventure

Another 208 owner chiming in. Fantastic boat in almost all ways, biggest downside is the gap between the two helm seats is narrow for a full-bodied American. As others have said, it's a big "small boat" but very easy to trailer. We've had ours up to Maine and out to Indiana she tows easy. Lots...

    IridiumGo?

The data download is S....L....O....W.... be warned. They call it a "hot spot" because of how it connects to your phone, but do not expect it to work like one.

Anyone mount a big amplifier in a Grady?

Yea it's loud and sounds clean. Best part is you can hear it above the 2-stroke at cruising speed!

Adventure 208 with Yamaha F150 data

I added Lenco tabs, you can see them in the photo I posted of my boat in your other thread. I like the Lencos, no hydraulics, much more responsive, and built-in indicators.

Adding Radar Arch / Hard Top on Adventure 208 with F150 Yamaha

Yes, I installed it myself, with a second set of hands. Although my business is marine electronics installation so this is what I do every day! We had AT do the rocket launchers custom on the sides for a sleeker look at my Wife's suggestion, and keep it "one-piece" rather than their adjustable...

Adding Radar Arch / Hard Top on Adventure 208 with F150 Yamaha

I added the Atlantic Towers arch to my 208, and outfit it with a Raymarine radar and some Lumitec lights. It's fantastic. Only downside is it makes the side-decks very tight to walk around, but now there is a great handhold. https://www.atlantictowers.com/

AC Install in 282. It Works!

Change that Home Depot hose for hose rated for below-the-waterline as has been previously mentioned. This is a sinking waiting to happen.

    autopilot

I converted my 208 to hydraulic steering using U-Flex components, and then installed the Raymarine EV-150. Works great.

Coast Guard: Vessel Kill Switches Required By Law Starting Next Month

The wireless systems from Fell Marine and ACR are really good, and add some nice piece of mind. I have personal experience with the Fell Marine and like it a lot. Macho attitudes aside, cutoff lanyards make sense.

    Adventure 208 Seat Replacement

I'm looking to replace the seats on my 99 Adventure 208? For those who have done it, what brand/model did you use?

    Factory steering or modified?

The copper is factory Grady. Not sure about the rubber hose though, looks custom. Newer Grady's just use pre-made SeaStar hoses, which is the right way to do it.
