The wiper motor has a hot feed and internal contacts that stay "made" intil the wiper returns to the park position. I suspect that the contacts are welded together. You'll need to remove the cover from the wiper motor to inspect the contacts.

There should be two 6 gauge wires, one red and one black, running under the starboard walkway.

I've trailered the Marlin and can honestly say that I wouldn't do it w/o a dually. I had a F250 diesel set up for heavy hauls and it pulled it fine - but in my estimation paying a hauler is well worth it, particulary considering the distance you're travelling.

Curm is right...lotsa water and some spray. I dunk mine in salt a couple of times per week. When I arrive home the boat gets a wash and the calipers and rotor get healthy rinses on the inside and out.

There is no problem in mounting a marine charger in the same compartments as the batteries. This probably covers most installations and allows for shorter cables between the charger and the batteries.

From what you're saying while on plane, you have a steering issue and not a bow steer problem. As previously mentioned, make sure your steering system is full, check for air in the system and alignment of the motors.

ret: You are indeed correct that the Marlin is a bow heavy boat, but it shouldn't cause major issues. At what speeds is the issue occurring (I'm guessing at displacement speeds)? I can't imagine a tracking problem at planing speeds. At displacement speeds and a following sea/current, the tabs...
