sorry but why on earth would you want tracks on on your gunnel, sounds like a great place to gather dirt, grime and tear your clothing. Not to mention people stepping on them and bending them. Never once have I wished I could slide my downrigger forward by 3 inches - just mount them in the back...

yup he said it, but look at all the wood pieces also: bulkhead, trim, doors as they seem be rotten on a lot of overnighters.

I have a 225 mercury from 2001 I believe. I do have a lowrance but its not compatable with the NMEA 2000 networking. I think I'm gonna go with the lowrance LMF 200 or 400 - Has anybody used these as a stand alone gauge?
