    My Tenth Anniversary?

Time flies......... Ten for me this month, too. I brought my 24' Tournament home mid-January 2005. My wife wouldn't mind if I forgot ours. She realizes my memory is undependable, at best.

Blank Grady Instrument Panel, 1993 time frame

Employee discount, too? To the op, you can still buy the teak laminate. It's made by Wilson Art.

Adhesive Advice for Hull and Cabin Stripes

Make sure the surface is absolutely clean and free of wax and residue before applying the new stripes. If not, it will only peel again.

    Aft jump seats? (222 Fisherman)

The hardware, or something that will do the job, has to be available separately somewhere. Maybe someone could take a few pictures of the hardware and get a name off of it. The base panel material can be bought locally. You could build them yourself.

    What are these brackets for?

You could take the bracket off, reinstall the screws and then letter over the screws. Or fill in the holes and letter over them. With some imagination you could probably cover those holes with the vinyl and no one would ever know they were there.

    24 Offshore starboard wing window

The glass and the hardware was probably made by Water Bonnet. It was on my 83 and 87 boats. Look down in the corners of the larger pieces and you'll see a name etched in there. I had a phone number somewhere......................

    Top Grady Maintenance Items?

I wouldn't use chrome over anything. They tend to delaminate.

    Top Grady Maintenance Items?

On the thru hulls, stainless steel everywhere is ok unless you're going into a slip. Then you should have bronze units at or below the watereline. Bonded, too. Don't know about the fuel tanks.

    Why Grady?

The shear lines appeal to me and they serve a purpose, primarily safety. The storage area. The cockpit size. The overall layout. The gunnel depth. Most everything drains naturally overboard. The bow flare kicks ass when it needs to; it's still amazing to see water deflected horizontally that...

Well, seasick, we probably all go through it for one reason or another. IMHO, This forum and every other forum is like a supermarket. Many, many choices. Choose what we like. Leave what we don't. I also think that we change as we 'mature' in any setting. When we first arrive anywhere, there's...

I like the C E Smith ones. Quite a while ago I bought two GW 'blems' on e-bay. They were shiny when they came in, but went sour in about a month.

    Fuel Tank/Fuel Lines Replacement

I replaced mine 2 years ago. 87 Gulfstream 232G. I cut a hole for an 8" screw type deck plate behind the fuel fills. This gave me access to every clamp there, and the nuts holding the fills in. Removed the fuel fills, vents and the deck hatches. Disconnected the large hoses from the tanks and...

A terrific boat. I had one. A few pix are here, top row 'DogHouse"; gallery/album.php?album_id=28&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&start=24 Loved the layout. Never had tabs, but needed them, because it's lighter than a cabin boat. Enjoy!
