    307 Owner Feedback

Thanks everyone for the replies! I have been trying to keep my search to 307's that either have a bow thruster or HelmMaster just for the pure fact that this will likely be a boat that is kept for a long time and I don't want any regrets not getting the extras that could make boating/docking...

    307 Owner Feedback

Hi all, We currently have a 225 and have run it for 2 seasons now. It is probably the best all around 22ft boat out there. Performs great, it comfortable and has more room than most 22ft boats due to the motor bracket. Unfortunately, for most of our use we are just trying to put too many...

    Deck Drain/Hose Replacement - 225 Tournament

The boat is 1-1/2hrs away and I don't have any specific pictures of the hoses, fittings etc. I was hoping someone who had done the job on this specific model could offer advice. I think access to the thru hull scupper will be fairly easy, but worried about getting back to the deck fitting. If...

    Deck Drain/Hose Replacement - 225 Tournament

Has anyone replaced the deck drains and hoses on a 225 Tournament? Ours is a 2005 and everything looks original (i.e. rusted and needs to be replaced). This is more of the freedom style layout with the fold down transom seat, not the the moulded in stern seats. I have seen posts on other...

225 Tournament Transom Seat Rail Diameter

Does anyone happen to know what the rail diameter is for the folder down transom seat on a 225 tournament? I am trying to order in a couple of clamp on rod holders to use for the weekend and don't know if i should get the 7/8"-1" or the 1" - 1-1/4" clamp on holders. Thanks!

A few repairs on 225 Tournament Radio cover & bolt in Transom

I had a bolt broken off on the port side stainless bracket that supports the bracket. We tried to drill it out and use an ez-out but after 30 minutes an no luck (with lots of cussing) I filled the hole with epoxy waited for it to dry then drilled a pilot above it at an angle and sunk a new lag...

    Seafarer 228 4 blade vs 3 blade

I am running an OFS4 15.25 x 15 on our 225 Tournament, Yamaha F225. I feel it is a good match for the hull. It doesn't give the best top end (5800rpm 39mph, bottom paint...) but I can stay on plane in the slop at 20-21mph and cruise comfortablly from 26mph (4200rpm) to 32mph (4600rpm). Hole...

Grady 225 Tournament - Extending Fresh Water Shower Hose

I hear ya, I wouldn't want a sore back and knees though! At this point I could only really shower from the chest down. I don't even want to use it as a "shower" really, just want it to be a little more usable overall for multiple purposes.

Grady 225 Tournament - Extending Fresh Water Shower Hose

Appreciate this info, not sure why it didn't occur to me to just buy a whole new, longer hose! I am supposed to be at the boat on Sunday, I am going to double check that it isn't hanging up on something in the compartment below. If not, I am just going to order the OEM replacement hose in 10'...

Grady 225 Tournament - Extending Fresh Water Shower Hose

From the best I could tell looking in the compartment, the hose is not catching on anything, just short.

Grady 225 Tournament - Extending Fresh Water Shower Hose

Has anyone attempted to splice in and extend the fresh water shower hose in the transom of a 225? I went to use it for the first time the other week and it is almost useless. I couldn't even pull out enough hose to get it over my head. Would the proper size brass hose barb be enough to hold a...

    225 Shakedown Cruise

We purchased a 2005 225 Tournament back right after Christmas. I have been working on it all winter with the goal of having it ready to go in the water on April 1st. Well we were 2 days late :), weather stopped us on Friday, but we were finally ready to splash her yesterday. It was the first...

    GW 225 Tournament 2005 250 Yamy

Ours lists slightly to starboard as well. Have the dual lounger seat on port. I think our is an issue of having tools, safety gear, washing supplies etc stored in the compartment ahead of the helm.

    Scupper Hoses - 225 Tournament

They aren't that bad..... yet. It is definitely a project that is going to be tackled soon though. Are you guys going back with the same wire reinforced hose? I have heard that some use the white sanitation hose like you see on marine heads.

    Scupper Hoses - 225 Tournament

Sorry, port side is straight forward. The stbd side is where the battery switch is.
