DeWalt 20 V Impact Driver: Any Of You Gents Own / Use One?

Re: DeWalt 20 V Impact Driver: Any Of You Gents Own / Use O Love mine! It is a beast but not cheap! Porter Cable makes a 20V but only comes with one battery. Half the price of DeWalt, though.

    Engine Flush

If you are going to flush with the engine running, use earmuffs only. If you are worried about salt build up, use Salt-Away one or twice a season. Stuff works.

new owner of a Adventure 208

My suggestion for backing a single engine 208 into a slip between boats is.....tip the dock boy 5 bucks and let him do it. I found that if you tip the dock boys for each and everything they do, it will save you a lot of aggravation. So many people with big expensive boats have alligator arms...

    Battery Advice

Group 27 is a size and that's what your 208 takes. I prefer Interstate batteries. If you don't have a charger, a dual hook-up Battery Tender is a great investment. Charges batteries and conditions them without overcharging them.

    LED Bulbs for Spreader Lights

My 2004 208 has the Hella spreader lights from the factory. The replacement bulb is H3. I tried the LED bulb but it was not as bright as the original. Since I am rarely out after dark, it really did not make a difference. You can get them here. http://www.amazon.com/Zone-Tech-Generic ...

New Member - Just Purchased An Adventure 208!

Also, the 208 is not a Donzi. But once you get the bottom cleaned and trim tabs on, you should see much better performance and fuel economy. Bennett makes electric tabs that have no hydraulic stuff to install. Might want to give them a look. Watch your depth in Barnagat Bay. Don't ask how I...
