    View from Marlin Helm

    Went from a 265 to the marlin and it took about 30 minutes to get used to going from the center helm to the starboard. I’m 6 feet, zero visibility issues.

    It was in bad shape. Scraped : peeled off what we could a cleaned the surface with acetone. The new “pad” looks nice.

    2001 Express 265 Repairs

    Enjoy the 265! I’m in Western CT and owned a 2003, bought in 2006, for 14 years and sold to move up. Drbatts is a friend and owned a 265 for years too. We did more maintenance than major upgrades but more than happy to help with any questions. -Mike (Eppe)

    Owned a 265 from 2006 - 2020. All good advice re tilt and trim. As for the stalling engine. Replace the fuel lines. I had a similar issues when the boat was about 10 years old. I planned on changing them anyways but started having the same issue. Easy to change and no issues after that. Sold...

    Shipping a Grady out west.

    We sold our 265 express to a gentleman in WA state and connected him with Diamond Marine in West Haven, CT. Granted the buyer needed a trailer as well, but they handled the transaction. They also trailered the boat we bought from NC to CT on their trailer.

    We replaced all the fuel lines on our old 265 like 8-9 years ago. Just pull the cockpit deck and its all in front of you, ezpz. Just rechalk when done.

    How To Winterize AC System?

    On our Marlin we suck the salt water out of the sea strainer with a baster and literally pour pink stuff in the discharge with a funnel. Ezpz!!
