Thanks Ritchie. It looks like this cowling is held on with two bolts that are accessed from the front of the leg and two that are accessed from inside the lower cowling near the PRV. I am I correct? Thanks again.

I won't be able to for a while. It is gray in color and about 1/2" in dia. It threads into a black fitting on the port side of the lower cowling and disappears up into the power head.
