It is a 228 Seafarer, i have just the pulpit no Windless. When the anchor is laying on pulpit i have the clamp that holds anchor chain tight but sometimes the chain chips paint on the pulpit. I will try to poat a photo.

Does anyone know if they make some kind of cover to put over your anchor chain so it does not damage the bow pulpit all the time ? Are any other ideas from someone who has corecte this problem? thanks all

Can someone tell me what is a good paint to use to repaint my bow pulpit ? I have to use paint brush are roller ( have no spray equipment). Also is there a specific paint to use to match the grady white color boat is the older whit a 1991. thanks for the help.

Can some guys with a trailer give me there thoughts i have to replace some rollers this year. I am a EZ Loader with the black ribbed i guess wobble roller. What is the difference are better the * Ribbed are * Smooth and how are the Yates compared to EZ loader rollers. thanks MIke

Right now i have Allstate and i am paying $661.00 and that was last years price. Think boat was Valued at around 19k new motor 11k and equipmet not sure. I think everything else is standard 100/300 coverage . Seems way to high for me ..

Does anyone know of a web site i can look up the book value of my boat and motor ? I am thinking about changing insurance companys and not sure what what boats value is set at It is a 1991 seafarer but has a 2005 motor? Any input would be appreciated. thanks

I just but a 200hp Evinrude on my 1991 228 seafarer goes along real well. I have not taken alot of people out yet to judge , but overall i think it moves along real good.

Ok i just put a new motor on last summer, did all the winter stuff to the motor. here is my problem there is a very good chance i will not be able to put boat in the water this year ( Do to some health problems ). What can i do to help prevent any problem with new motor next summer, from...

Does everyone have a plate under Pulpit from inside robe cabin to re-enforce the deck ? If so can you use a thick piece ply wood? Thanks for all the help ..

I have a 91 22 seafarer and i will be adding ( hope to) a bow pulpit this year no windless . I need to purchase a anchor roller, been looking online but what size do you get? What is the ( Max, Min ) length to get. Thanks

OK see if i can explain this, i am installing a bow pulpit this year, and i am gonna PIECE in the extension for the pulpit railing. The railing is i believe 7/8 and what i would like to do is where the 2 railing will join together ( Have like a thinner peice of stinless steal tubing...
