Going to be installing a high water alarm in bilge of my Sailfish. 1) Which brand is preferred? Leaning toward a Water Witch. 2) Is one sensor enough or would a sensor near each bilge pump/compartment be more appropriate?

I have what I would consider a dumb question regarding bottom painting...As I consider painting the bottom, I am wondering is there anything special done to the thru hulls for the livewell, raw water wash down and head when bottom painting? Will there be growth in the hoses/sea cocks?

The washdown pump on my 06 Sailfish is leaking at the intake. It appears that the fitting (elbow) from the hose to the pump is where it is leaking from. I have tightened everything twice and it still leaks so I am thinking it has to be the fitting itself. Not much room to operate in down...
