Ritchie compass specs for a 98 272 Sailfish

Ritchie Compass is located in the next town over from us. I called them about refurbishing the original compass and was able to bring it in for the rebuild. A week later it was like new! They replaced the card, gaskets and oil without messing with the adjustments. I was able to put it back...

    Our 228G

We traveled from Green Harbor MA to Race Point, about 17 miles for us. The whales were about three miles out from Race Point. I've had great days fishing there but taking the family out to see the whales was the best trip I've had there!

    Our 228G

Had a friend snap a picture of us underway and just hanging out. We also got to see some whales! We didn't catch anything but seeing the whales and the reaction of my wife and son made the day worth the trip.

    towing question

We just purchased a 2004 F-350 with a gas motor to tow our 228G. I had a 1997 F-250 two wheel drive. The 250 was ok for the very short trip to the ramp but I feel much better with the 350. It has disc brakes in the rear and four wheel drive if I need it. We plan on trailering to other ports...

We have a 1993 228G Seafarer. I only have pictures from when the boat was for sale: http://ww2.coojoe.us:8080/boat.html

How many of you name your boats?

We named our 228G Dea Latis. The boat is named after the goddess of water and beer. I'm going to have the name made out of vinyl. I'm just not sure if I should put the name on the port and starboard sides or on the starboard side of the stern?

    Cape Coral FL Fishing

We are taking a trip to Cape Coral to visit my dad. He doesn't have a boat suitable for fishing. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a charter? Is the fishing good in March? What's around there that time of year? Eric
