I have used the 4 rod holder on a 30 Marlin and presently have a 6 rod on my 33 Express. We use them all the time and Birdsall quality is great.

Thanks for the input. Sure enough the seacock is right there. I think I will use the drain plug method . this will enable the pump to be shut off occassionally and not run all the time.

On the factory installed livewell is there a seacock to allow the seawater to be turned off/on before switching the livewell pump on? Also do you put a black stopper plug in the the drain hole at the bottom during operation ? My pump volume exceeds the drain hole outflow and maintains a full...

Sorry for late response, been out of town. My dealer is Taylor Marine. Have had 30 Marlin and this will be 4th season on a 33 Express and the tabs look fine.

I was told by my dealer that I did not need zincs on the tabs because they were grounded and any electroyisis would be taken up by the other anodes.

Sundance, I weighed heavy on a chair or at least a rocket launcher. I opted for not. I think it would be too crowded. We have some good harnesses and stand-up is where it is at 99 % of the time .
