1993 GW Escape. Last season I smelled fuel and knew it was only a matter of time before I had to replace the fuel tank. Had to remove console and cut out deck... All back together for this season though. And now I am wanting more waterline and a top to hide from the sun.

I see that boat still listed with Baert here six months later. What do you know about this one? I wonder if there has been a survey done? I looked at it on Labor Day when Baert was closed. Having replaced a fuel tank in my 209 Escape this past year, I can't believe I am looking, but I am.

Mikey, this thread is 12 years old..... But, this past year, I paid 1600 for an 82 gallon tank for 1993 209 Escape. Almost all back together. DO NOT depend on GW drawings for your tank! Take yours out and give it to the fabricator. Mine did not match the drawings and I had a 200 dollar change...

Two different consoles used 1999-2010 that would/should fit my 1993 209 Escape. Mine is out of the boat during tank replacement, so I figure why not see if a more recent design was available and if it would be a real upgrade. Any leads for salvage yards would be appreciated too. Thank you...

I realize this thread is five months old... However I will chime in. My 1993 20' Escape 209 had/has same wheel. Had to remove console to replace fuel tank. Replacing steering while it is all apart. I also could not get wheel off so took a sawzall to it.

Not mine, but yes, a commercial tongue jack in the shop I have the boat for the replacement. $200 change order to get the tank right, for total of $1800 to the fabricator... Now all new hoses, stem to stern, bilge pump, steering, replacement SS screws of different sizes, maybe a new wheel...
