Violent.... When I bought my 22 Tournament (a 1982 that was 13 years old) the bulkheads (or kick panels as you call'em) were rotted out, the vertical teak pieces were cracked also. NOTE, I also found virtually every screw between hull and deck cap on the sides, was loose, broken, missing etc...

This is the last week for ours this year, pulling it about a month early for various reasons. Spending a few hours every day winterizing and setting up the homefront for hibernation. I'm heading for St Lucie Inlet next week with the bayboat for the winter a couple weeks earlier this year :D

It gets old over there for sure, the site gets worse and worse every day. The 'quality' (for lack of a better word) of the posters diminished after they threw out a bunch of the good guys when IB took over. I admit that I fuel the fire at times, I need to not take some of the BS to heart, and...

Parthery, I think you have some bad info on the 200HPDI being gone... They still offer it from what I see, it's still on their website. $14k said'n'done with all new cables, controls, gauges and prop sounds pretty close to me.

I have had that 2.6 Yam engine in about a dozen different models from 150 to 225. They don't get any better. Clean fuel, Yamalube, Ringfree and you have about 1500 more hours on that thing.

Thanks Enough... Good info to know. Wasn't looking to save $2 a switch, was thinking maybe there was something better now. We have a cover over the switches to keep water off that I'd like to lose.

Need almost all the switches on the electrical panel on our 99 306 Bimini... Was wondering where you guys get'em? Are you replacing with the same kind?

DITTO.... In fact Double DITTO Buy a Sure Fire flashlight and holster. All the power you need to spot markers, etc. Way way way more convienent too.

It is rare to ever see me get excited about a detailing product as I have too many toys to be fanatical about any one of them in particular (a good thing). I am one who swears by it. But, DO NOT BOTHER UNLESS 1) The hull (or whatever) is already CLEAN and shiney (it does not polish) 2)...

Jimmy is possibly good at what he does in his shop, personally, I have never seen his work so I won't judge. After reading him however, it doesn't matter to me, I did send him one guy that may or may not have used him. There's work for everyone, he won't starve if he never touches a keyboard...

I have the "Aluminum I-Beam" Load Rite..... Bought the 5800lb(?) tandem so I could pull my bay boat or 22 Tournament that I had. The only things aluminum are the I-beams and fenders. NOT the crossmembers or brackets, which are galvanized... Shame on me for buying from the spec sheet...

IMHO, nothing to look at but a 250 Yamaha OX-66, plenty of used ones around, can't go wrong... My old 22 had a 200 Evinrude, then a 225 Yam and finally the 250.... The 250 made a real difference in it, would be great on a Offshore..

I don't get Yamahas reasoning on some of the things they do, the 300 is like the 200... Heavy for it's power, and 200 and 300 horse size are super popular sizes. I think the 200 oughtta be a 4 cyl (like the F150) and the 300 a V-6.... That said; I have never designed, built, or marketed...

Want to switch out the standard 2 gallon Yamaha oil tanks with the 5's. Anyone else made the switch on a 306 Bimini. Looks to be enough room for them.

fish, I think it would be a great idea. When I bought my old Tournament I just had a bimini and enclosure w/bow cover made. I only put the top on it when I would go way off chasin tuna with it and again from October to December. Many times I thought, A radar arch with fold out top.. Room for...
