I have dual purpose batteries that are plugged in to a charger as soon as I dock, maybe they are being overcharged I never thought to check them. I have heard direct from Yamaha that gel batteries will not work well with my four strokes charging system..

I am replacing the group 27 Interstates on my 282 Sailfish that has twin f225 Yamaha's and was wondering how others rated thier brand of batteries. The Interstates didn't seem to last long for me but I do use the livewell a lot while drift fishing with the motors off....

I had to remove a underwater light that was mounted using only 5200 and sanded a small area of gelcoat away that is under the waterline and will covered by a new light, Is there a quick easy way to reseal the area that I sanded the gelcoat off the fiberglass?

You may want to call Yamaha regarding the use of AGM style batteries for use with F225's, I have the same setup and Yamaha said that the batteries wouldn't last long with the type of alternators on thier motors.

On my sensor the extremely thin wires corroded at the point where they enter the tank and there is no way to repair them, The Macerator pump seems to be frozen and I have to be pumped out. There has to be a unit that is better than the overpriced Groco.

I wanted to replace the entire assembly in my 282 with another tank monitoring system to avoid paying Groco's outrageous price for what I considor a piece of junk, anyone look into RV tank sensors?

I purchased a 2002 282 Sailfish that has a couple of it's outside cushions missing, the one for the rear bench seat and the port seat cushion on the livewell lid. Grady wants crazy money for these and I either need a pattern to duplicate them for my local upholsterer or find a used set for...
