    GW model 205 Gulfstream 1980

I would email Grady with your hull number and ask them for the spec sheets. They will have what you need and will be happy to help you.

    20 foot overnighter

Yeah, that is a beast for the 20 ft overnighter. What prop did it come with?

Fuel fill hose replacement 192 Tournament

How did this all turn out? I replaced all of my fuel and vro lines, except for the fuel fill hose. I was worried about what you experienced and I don't want to hack the boat apart in the process. Would be interested to know how things went.

    Grady White Vinyl

Look at a sample and if you like it, then go for it. Don't chase an exact match. What's the point? Especially if you are having all the vinyl replaced. The installer can recommend a close match. When I redid all of,mine, I learned to just let it go. What the installer recommended came...

275-- sliding, tossing --what to do?

I agree with Dennis. More likely how you are driving the boat in certain conditions. That 275 shouldn't be sliding anywhere - even if folks were seated to one side of the boat. How does it handle opened up when flat calm?

    Adding cleats to a 1994 Tournament 192?

I have your exact Grady, '94 Tournament 192. I did this project within a year of purchasing the boat. For location, Google search for 19 ft Grady White Freedom photos. Copy the location on the newer Freedom model, which is identical (pretty much) to what we have. I just eye balled the...

What a beast. Great looking Grady. I love the hard top!

    Thru hull fittings.

Yes, swap them. The plastic ones get brittle with age. Could be compromised and you would never know it. Replaced all of my 1994 Tournament thru hulls with the chrome looking ones. Not sure what type of metal they are. Looks better than the white plastics. Good luck!

    150hp on a 20 foot Grady?

Agreed with what these guys are telling you. I have a 192 Tournament (an inch or so over 19 feet) with a 200 hp two stroke. It is a perfect combination. I know folks say the 150hp is fine, but I know I would not want to step down to that size 2 stroke on my Grady. These boats are well...

Help getting it running....208 Adventure....NEED HELP!!!

Glad you got it sorted out. You should probably mount the line in that upright position if possible. I used zip ties on my line to get the primer bulb oriented in that verticle position - arrow up. Could also use the plastic hose clamps that screw to fiberglass. Anyway, great news. Now...

    1989 tounament value

That is insane! For that price I would take 2 of them. Great deal. You can't go wrong with that setup. Enjoy the tournament. :D

    1989 tounament value

No, it does not affect the value. I would have preferred no bottom paint, but ended up with it because the boat was what I wanted and was in good shape. I haven't seen where this would detract from the value though. I think at 4k you can't go wrong. You will get many years service out...

    1989 tounament value

4k with the trailer and the motor running is spot on. You won't get one for cheaper than that running. That is a fair price. I am on the east Coast in NC and was seeing prices from 5k to 7500 for late 80s Tournaments. I ended up waiting for a 1994 model because I liked the way they changed...

The "Big Trip" - 900+ miles in our Marlin

Great story and awesome pictures. Thank you for sharing! That is what I miss about south Florida, being able to do trips like this - I grew up in Miami, but left after Hurricane Andrew. Glad you had a safe trip.

    225 Tournament - Replacing Speakers

I would wait until you can pull the speakers and measure. Just eat the extra cost for the peace of mind of doing it right the first time. Kind of like wood work. Measure twice, cut once. If you rely on information that turns out to be wrong, then you are really out some cash.

Prop cavitating - GW Tournament 19

Not too clear on what you are saying. I think you are indicating that you had the Yamaha installed last year and that it ran great all year with that prop and set up. If that is the case, then I doubt seriously that you have a prop issue or issue with the height of the motor. If it ran...

Re: Needed to vent about a Grady White dealership experience What makes you think a dealer did the work on the fuel lines? That may have been a previous owner replacing all the lines and he hooked them up backwards. I replaced all fuel lines and vro lines on my Grady, so it is quite...

If you are talking about the black hinges that stay open, then they are detent hinges that are made by Southco. Just do a google search for Southco Detent hinges and you will be able to get them from numerous sources. I got a couple from Amazon with free shipping. Good luck!
