The black flap on my transom washdown has finally broken. Has anyone been able to find a factory replacment assembly? Or at least something that will fit in the hole without having to cut it out more? Thanks!

Has anyone ever experinced rusty looking wate leaking from where the bow rail meets the fiberglass? I have one spot that after a rain or wet ocean run bleeds brown water all down the side of the boat. Any thoughts on a solution? Thanks! Desperado 272 Sailfish

Does anyone have real world experience towing a Marlin? I tow my 272 constantly and the only issue so far has been heigth (mostly low limb issues on rural roads). I just wanted to see if the Marlins extra dimmensions have caused anyone an issue. I know about permits, etc. I want REAL towing...

Does anyone with a Sailfish have a Marine Air Systems 5K- Cool Mate A/C Model CLM5KC/1 installed? I found one I may buy, just trying to figure out if it will fit.

I plan on taking my small (22ft) boat to the Keys on vacation and leaving it in the water for 7 days. It does not have bottom paint. Does anyone know if this is long enough to cause a problem? Or is there a temporary caoting I could put on it? I do not plan on bottom paitning for a one time thing.

The keel of my 272 is hitting the axle of my trailer while loading. The main and forward bunks fit the hull well, but I use some fairly steep ramps on occasion. Any ideas on how to prevent this? Thanks!!

I can pick up a Carry On A/C for a cheap price locally. Has anyone ever used one of these? The wife and I only camp on the boat a couple nights a year, and A/C would make her happy. I have not been able to find out if the Honda EU2000 willl power this unit. Thanks!

My 2000 Sailfish has the fold down ladder on the opposite side of the transom door (bad design?). I have seen several photos were Marlin and Sailfish owners have added the removable dive ladder to the transom by the door. I would like to do this, but cannot see how you would get to the bolts...
