    Marlin- Waste disposal

If it lays out like my express, there is a hatch under the aft bunk that has three thru hulls. One for the wash down, one for the livewell and one for the head discharge. If you run that pump with that seacock closed, and it sounds like you may have, you risk turning the duckbill valves on the...

    Windshield wiper knob/valve leaking

I was running in from fishing the other day and felt water dropping on my foot. Turns out my fresh water windshield wiper knob/valve is leaking. Anybody ever deal with this? Im wondering if there is a washer in there and you can take it apart and fix or if I just need a new one. Any help...

    Any 2008-10 330 Express owners?

The f300s would seem to be the way to go, lighter and I assume you can do your own oil changes. Having to pay to change my oil would kill the 350s for me right there. As I understand it, the new f series in any horse power is much better sealed against water intrusion. I love my 330,but...

    Yammaha Engine Fuel filter housing

I think the additives guard against phase separation. My understanding is the ethanol causes the plastic to swell. I never had any problems until my marina went through a time period where they could not get ethanol free gas.

    Yammaha Engine Fuel filter housing

If you don't have the new design and need to change that filter, you can take off the whole assembly, put it in the freezer for a couple of hours and the filter cover should screw right off. Ethanol, who needs it?

    225HP's on a 33' Express

Best I recall, 4600 rpms gave you 26 mph at about 1.0 - 1.2 mpg give or take. What the 225s had that the 250s do not, was a sweet spot that gave you 20 mph and 16 gph. Granted that's not flying, but on a long waterway trip it's fast enough and pretty economical.

    225HP's on a 33' Express

I had a225s on mine and repowered with the 250s. The 250s might be a hair faster and burn a bit more fuel. If the 225s are in good shape, I think you will love them on that boat.

    US Virgin Islands

There are so many options down there. You can charter a sail or powerboat and cruise around and stay on the boat. (The British side is actually better for cruising and we have always used The Moorings out of Tortolla.) The last time we went we rented a house with a pool on St. John. I have...

    Shower sump pump ?'s

Mine quit working last year. I have a 33 express but I bet the pump set up is the same. The pump sits in in a plastic box and is screwed down into sleeves in the box. I took the old pump out, went to west marine and found a pump with the same mounting screw locations and the swap mout was...
