It will take a little research on your part but the wires could be spliced. Remember that no mater what kind of new machine you put in it will only work as well as transducer. You could get a new 60" plasma but the picture will suffer if you hook it up to a coat hanger antenna. Good luck!

I used 'Ipe. Its as hard as steel. It won't rot. It won't burn. Bugs won't eat it. IT WILL NOT FLOAT. Maintinance is not too hard. I just wipe it down with linseed oil. All the pieces I used were left over from a flooring job. And yes I'm an old guy and prefer wood trim. :shock:

Greased lightning is about the strongest cleaner out there. don't leave it on long and rinse it well Good luck

The shaft the motor steers with is called the king pin. It has one fitting near the bottom. If it's never been greased it will take a lot to get it to push grease out the top. It will push water out first.

The one near the generator under the fish box is the only charger on mine but I have the '05 and a 6KW radar. Good Luck.

you should have 2 pair of batteries. Each pair is connected in parallel. One side of the charger goes to each pair. It won't matter which one of the pair you connect to, it will be the same. There should be 2 seperate green lights on the charger. One for each pair. I hope that helps.

there is a shock built into the hitch with the master cyl. It it there to dampen the action.

weighing the trailer on a platform scale like the ones at truck stops and recycling centers will get you the true weight. 5-7% has its limits. I would not go less the 400# if possiable or over 800#. If the brakes are cycling you may have a bad shock/dampner in the hitch

The array only weighs about 8-10# the 6' maybe 10-12# The 6' will go on the 6KW scanner. The 12KW I think just runs on a higher voltage. I don't think there is a weight differance.

I have the 4' on mine and it looks fine up there. At the time I installed it I should have gone with the 6' When you're outfitting a $200,000 rig with $10,000 of stuff what difference does $300 make? With the 6KW and 4' array I can find 2 or 3 birds 3 miles away

I had a cross threaded fitting on the pump out pump. The fitting seats against the duck bill valve. Easy to find the leak with the aft cabin taken apart.

if you count the fishing season and the amount of coast line Florida has more fishable days from fishable ports then the entire rest of the east coast. IMHO

where is the one transducer? have you looked in the bilge for a shoot through? when it doesn'y work is the whole thing dead or is it lit up and not reading?
