I put them through the bullhead right along side the fuel lines. I used the same type bulkhead fitting that they used for the fuel lines. I connected to engine hoses with a regular brass coupling and ss clamps. The line is 3/8 fuel with braid, just be sure you read the OD.. If it's to big it...

EPA required all tanks to have a percentage of tank for expansion. I believe it is now a closed system. They are now baffled so you can't fill 100%. My 36 is only 344 instead of 370 like they used to.

Make sure the check valve is working. It's built into the fuel pump. If its not holding the fuel will run back to tank when not running thus making hard to start until fuel is pumped back into system.

I replaced mine a while back.. The dremmel works but it takes forever to get enough cleaned out. Make sure u get a good bit. Have fun..:)

The lines are for Generator, AC/Fish Box (water circulates through same pump and lines), Port engine, starboard engine. The flush out hoses on the Yamaha engine are coupled to a 3/8 reinforced gas line through the transom with bulkhead fittings up to the manifold. FYI... the original flush hose...

This is the cooler box under helm seat. Never had bit of trouble with either. I dont believe fishbox could be removed on earlier ones. I'll have to look see if I have pics..

Its a bitch.. Poorest engineeing Ive seen. I was told one mechanic removes the whole pump to do it.. Haven't tried that. I always tie braided line on the wing nuts so when I loose them I can pull them up. Dont know how you can change the seal. Anyway..I solved..bought the 36.. :wink:

I did it on my 33.. The fish box was removable.. I ran refrigerated tubing around the outside of box, insulated and re installed. Put a compressor unit in aft berth wall. Works great..I also put plates in a cooler under helm seat, also works great. Here's a good company. They worked with me...
